Landing Page Monitoring

One snippet, and Quarkad watches the page itself — visits, form views, submits, and the edits that change them. When conversions drop, the page change that preceded it is already on the timeline.

What Quarkad monitors

The snippet records three things on every landing page you track: landing views, form views, and successful submits — so you can see exactly which step of the page lost people rather than just that the total fell.

Alongside the metrics, Quarkad scans the page for changes to the form, the landing area, the content, and the page structure. Each change is timestamped and lands on the same timeline as the metrics, so a drop sits next to the edit that came before it.

What changes can cause incidents

  • A form field added, removed, or made required — quietly raising friction
  • The form or its submit button moved, renamed, or replaced by a new embed
  • A thank-you page or success state that changes, so conversions stop being confirmed
  • Page content or structure edits from a redesign, an A/B test, or a CMS publish
  • The tracking snippet removed by a theme update or deploy, so reporting goes silent

Example incident

Illustrative scenario.

A theme update ships at 16:05 and replaces the form embed on the pricing page. Landing views and form views hold steady, but submits fall to near zero. Because visits didn’t move, Quarkad points downstream: the form change on that page is the ranked cause, and the alert goes out the same hour instead of surfacing in next month’s report.

Setup

  1. Add your site in Quarkad and copy the one-line snippet.
  2. Paste it into the page head — WordPress, Shopify, Google Tag Manager, or any HTML template.
  3. Tell Quarkad how a successful submit is confirmed: a thank-you URL, or a success element on the page.
  4. Add the page to a funnel, then turn on the website health monitor so a silent tracker raises an alert.

A website-only funnel is fully supported — connecting an ad platform is optional, not a prerequisite.

Limitations

  • Quarkad only sees pages where the snippet is installed. A page without it reports nothing.
  • Change detection covers the page as it is served — it is not a deploy log or a CMS revision history.
  • Success detection depends on how you configure it. If the thank-you URL or success element changes, update the setting or submits will stop being counted.
  • Ranked causes are likely explanations, not guarantees — always confirm before acting.

Frequently asked questions

How does Quarkad connect to my landing pages?
With one script tag. You paste a single snippet into the page head and Quarkad starts recording landing page views, form views, and successful submits, plus changes to the page itself. There is no OAuth step and no platform-specific plugin.
Which platforms does the snippet work on?
Any platform where you can add a script to the page head. Quarkad gives you paste-in instructions for WordPress, Shopify, and Google Tag Manager, plus a plain Custom HTML option that covers everything else.
What page changes does Quarkad detect?
Quarkad watches the parts of the page that matter to conversion: the form, the landing area, page content, and page structure. Each detected change is recorded as added, removed, or modified, with a short description of what moved.
How does Quarkad know a conversion happened?
You choose how success is detected: either the visitor reaching a thank-you URL, or a success element appearing on the page. Both are configured per site, so Quarkad matches how your page actually confirms a submit.
What if the snippet stops reporting?
That is itself an incident. The website health monitor alerts you when the tracking snippet stops reporting or the page scanner fails — so a silent dashboard never gets mistaken for a quiet week.
Does Quarkad slow the page down?
The snippet loads asynchronously, so it does not block rendering.
