Four ways to find out why conversions dropped
Every team already has a method. Usually it is a dashboard and a person who checks it. These pages compare the honest strengths and limits of each approach, including the cases where Quarkad is the wrong tool and something simpler is the right one.
Checking dashboards by hand
The default for most teams. Free, flexible, and genuinely good at judgement calls. It breaks on coverage and on the hours between the drop and the morning check.
Best for: a handful of accounts, or an investigation already underway.
Read the comparisonGoogle Analytics alerts
Free, already installed, and fine at telling you a number moved. What it cannot tell you is what changed, because it never sees your ad platforms, your page edits, or your CRM.
Best for: a threshold alert on a metric GA4 already collects.
Read the comparisonAgency reporting tools
Built to present performance to clients, and good at it. Reporting is a scheduled, backward-looking summary, which is the opposite shape to an incident that needs catching today.
Best for: recurring client reporting and portfolio roll-ups.
Read the comparisonFunnel monitoring tools
The closest category. Most monitor whether the funnel is up and whether the numbers moved. Fewer record what changed around the funnel, which is the part that shortens the investigation.
Best for: knowing a step broke. Less help with why.
Read the comparisonThe one thing they have in common
Three of these four approaches measure the funnel. They watch conversions, submits, or sessions and tell you when a number moves. That is the easy half of the problem, and most teams notice the drop on their own within a day or two.
The expensive half is the next question: what changed. Answering it means reconstructing the timeline across the ad platform, the landing page, the form, and the CRM, usually from memory and browser history, usually while a client waits. Quarkad is built for that second half. It records the changes as they happen so the timeline already exists when the drop shows up.
That focus is also its limit. Quarkad is not an analytics suite, not a client reporting tool, and not a replacement for your ad platforms. If what you need is a monthly performance deck, one of the options above is a better fit, and the comparison pages say so.
Or skip the comparison and see the timeline.
Connect a funnel and Quarkad starts recording ad, page, form, and CRM changes against your conversion data.
