1.Our Role
Depending on how Quarkad is used, we may act as either a data controller or a data processor.
For account, billing, support, website visitor, and business contact information, Quarkad generally acts as a controller.
For workspace, client, funnel, advertising, CRM, website, and integration data that customers connect to Quarkad, Quarkad generally acts as a processor or service provider acting on behalf of the customer or workspace owner.
If you use Quarkad on behalf of a client, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to connect, process, and monitor that client’s data.
2.Information We Collect
We collect different types of information depending on how you use Quarkad.
Account Data
When you create an account, sign in, or join a workspace, we may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Profile image
- Authentication provider
- Workspace membership
- Role and permission settings
- Login and authentication activity
Workspace and Client Data
Quarkad is designed for agencies and teams that manage multiple clients or brands. We may collect information about:
- Workspaces
- Clients or brands
- Connected websites
- Connected advertising accounts
- Connected CRM systems
- Funnel configurations
- Monitored campaigns
- Team members and permissions
Funnel, Website, and Conversion Data
To provide monitoring and diagnosis features, Quarkad may collect or process data related to marketing funnels, including:
- Page views
- Landing page visits
- Form views
- Form submissions
- Conversion events
- Funnel step performance
- Conversion rates
- Timestamps
- Landing page URLs
- Form structure changes
- Website or landing page content changes
- Technical signals related to funnel health
This data is used to detect conversion drops, identify funnel breakpoints, and help explain what may have changed before or during an incident.
Google and Google Ads Data
If you connect Google services, including Google Ads, Quarkad may access data that you authorize through Google OAuth. This may include:
- Google account identifiers
- Google Ads customer account identifiers
- Campaign, ad group, ad, asset, budget, bidding, and performance data
- Campaign change history or campaign metadata where available
- Conversion and performance metrics needed to monitor funnel performance
Quarkad uses Google API data only to provide user-facing features, including connecting Google Ads accounts, monitoring campaign and funnel performance, detecting conversion drops, and diagnosing likely causes of marketing incidents.
Quarkad does not sell Google user data.
Quarkad does not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, credit scoring, or unrelated purposes.
Quarkad’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke Quarkad’s access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page or by disconnecting the integration inside Quarkad.
Meta Ads Data
If you connect Meta Ads or related Meta business tools, Quarkad may process authorized data such as:
- Meta business or ad account identifiers
- Campaign, ad set, ad, creative, budget, targeting, and performance data
- Campaign configuration and change signals
- Metrics related to traffic, leads, and conversions
We use this data to monitor advertising changes, compare performance over time, and help diagnose whether Meta campaign changes may be connected to conversion drops.
HubSpot and CRM Data
If you connect HubSpot or another CRM, Quarkad may process authorized CRM-related data such as:
- CRM account identifiers
- Form submission records
- Lead or contact event metadata
- Pipeline or lifecycle signals
- CRM handoff and integration status
- Timestamps and technical delivery information
We use this data to help detect whether leads are being submitted, received, delayed, dropped, or incorrectly routed between forms, websites, and CRM systems.
Technical and Usage Data
We may collect technical information such as:
- IP address
- Browser and device information
- Operating system
- Referring pages
- Log data
- Error reports
- Security events
- Product usage events
- Timestamps
We use this information to operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
Communications and Support Data
If you contact us, we may collect your email address, message content, support requests, and related communication history.
3.How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve Quarkad
- Authenticate users
- Manage accounts, teams, workspaces, and permissions
- Connect third-party integrations
- Monitor marketing funnels
- Detect conversion drops and performance incidents
- Compare campaign, website, form, and CRM changes
- Surface likely causes and supporting evidence
- Send alerts, reports, and notifications
- Provide customer support
- Debug, secure, and maintain the service
- Prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access
- Comply with legal obligations
4.How We Use Integration Data
Quarkad connects to third-party platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, HubSpot, landing pages, forms, and other marketing or CRM systems.
We use integration data only to provide the features requested by the customer, such as monitoring funnels, detecting incidents, diagnosing likely causes, and showing relevant evidence.
We do not use connected integration data to build unrelated advertising profiles.
We do not sell customer integration data.
5.AI and Diagnostic Features
Quarkad may use automated analysis, rules, statistical checks, or AI-assisted features to help detect incidents and explain likely causes.
These outputs are diagnostic and informational. They may help users prioritize what to investigate, but they are not guaranteed to identify every issue or provide a complete or perfect explanation.
Customers are responsible for reviewing Quarkad’s outputs before making business, advertising, website, or CRM changes.
6.Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information.
We may share information with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate, secure, maintain, and deliver Quarkad. These providers may support services such as application hosting, database hosting, email delivery, analytics, monitoring, logging, security, storage, payment processing, and customer support.
These service providers may process information only as needed to provide services to Quarkad and are expected to protect the information they process.
We may also share information when required by law, to protect our rights, users, or the public, to investigate abuse, fraud, or security incidents, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
7.Third-Party Services
Quarkad integrates with third-party services such as Google, Meta, HubSpot, and other marketing, website, or CRM tools.
Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Quarkad is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, availability, or accuracy of third-party services.
8.Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements.
If you disconnect an integration, Quarkad will stop collecting new data from that integration. Some previously collected data may remain in historical records, backups, logs, or incident reports for a limited period unless deletion is requested and deletion is technically and legally possible.
9.Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, secure infrastructure, and protection of authentication credentials and integration tokens.
However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
10.International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
12.Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access your personal information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information
- Export your information
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
You may request account deletion or data deletion by contacting us.
13.Revoking Third-Party Access
You may disconnect integrations inside Quarkad where available.
You may also revoke Google access from your Google Account permissions page, and revoke access to other platforms through their own account or app permission settings.
14.Children’s Privacy
Quarkad is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
15.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users through the service or by email.
The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when this policy was updated.
